Ryan & Ashleigh tied the knot at Rosie Creek Farms on November 30, 2019. Their wedding day was nothing short of perfect with their wedding theme matching their personalities perfectly. Ashleigh always wanted a navy and Burgundy wedding with lots of blues added in the decor and she lucked out and married a marine veteran who’s dress blues matched perfectly to her dream wedding.

Ashleigh is an old soul, loves all things vintage and loves reading. She added touches of her and Ryan’s personality in the decor. They had the most unique wedding decor I’ve ever seen. Almost all of the center pieces were items she already had, and each table was totally unique. All of the guys in the wedding party had super hero shirts underneath and Ryan is obviously a superhero himself being a marine veteran. Also, I am the absolute worst with names so I never really learned the names of the groomsmen, all day long they were called by the super hero they dressed as!

Ashleigh and Ryan were so thoughtful in their wedding gifts for each other. Ashleigh recently got boudoir photos done by the amazing Tami Kaye as a wedding gift for Ryan. Tami started offering viewfinders with film that included images from her galleries and Ashleigh instantly bought one of her gallery for Ryan.

A+R love shooting guns recreationally (see their Gun Range Engagement Session here) so Ryans gift was a pistol engraved with their wedding date and a note to ashleigh (gun pictured in their engagement session). Ashleigh knew about this wedding gift because he gave it to her after he bought it. What she didn’t know or expect was how he would package it. Ryan got one of ashleigh’s favorite books from her favorite author enlarged, turned into a gun case, and had a note inside for her. Ashleigh was brought to tears as soon as she opened this.

This was my first time working with DJ Vladi, and honestly every wedding couple should try to get him!! He made sure everyone got on the dance floor, turned it into a party and of course danced himself.

The lady below is Ashleigh’s aunt who coordinated and decorated. She KILLED it!!!! Everything looked so beautiful and ran so smoothly. I am sometimes weary when people tell me their aunt is coordinating, but man did this one do amazing!

When we went to do the sparkler and American Flag exit, Ashleigh and Ryan were MIA for a few minutes. So I went looking for them since people kept trying to light the sparklers too early. They were sharing a dance totally alone, holding water bottles and everything. This right here is exactly why I photograph weddings and why some people think I follow brides and grooms a little too much. This is such a beautiful moment they’re sharing.

I have grown so close to Ashleigh through her just becoming one of my brides. I really am intentional about creating authentic relationships with my clients and Ashleigh is one of my extremely special brides. I usually share a blog the Tuesday after their wedding and here I am just now sharing it 3 weeks later because I am so emotionally attached to these photos that it was so hard for me to choose what to include in a wedding blog. I usually choose anywhere from 50-80 photos, but this blog has over 150 and I’m not complaining.

Ashleigh + Ryan, I will never be able to thank you enough for choosing me to document your wedding day for you to relive forever. You are an amazing couple, truly set for eternity, and I cannot wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish in life together.
