The Johnsons | 11.04.21

Ashley and Hunter had one of the most instantaneously comforting connections I’ve ever seen before in a CMC couple.
Their wedding was blissful, joyous, and inspiring.
Their family and friends didn’t hesitate to pour out love and tears of joy for the entire day.
This wedding was southern traditional, with hues of mahogany, soft pink, and cream.

This venue has been at the top of my list for favorite wedding day shoots. This was a destination wedding in Chattanooga, TN. My hubby and I went ahead and made this a weekend trip in GA before coming back to reality, and thanks to the Johnsons we made some memories that we will truly never forget!

This dress was jaw dropping, the details were so delicate and made such a beautiful statement for this CMC Brides’ big day!

Ashley, her dress, and this venue made this photo phenomenal. Take a close look at the intricate detail all throughout this gown!

One of my favorite parts of capturing a wedding is the little moments of getting ready before saying “I do”, sometimes these moments can feel rushed so capturing gives our brides that opportunity to go back and truly relive the little things that made their day so perfect.

Photographer tip: No detail is too big or too small, if you have something you know is important to you always make sure to prioritize it on your big day and ask your photographer to document it!

This was one of the most pure mother-in-law/daughter-in-law moments, Ashley was gifted a bible by her in law’s.

The bridal group’s reaction to a first look is always top tier!

A sweet father and daughter moment.

This venue at Highlands Chapel at Howe Farms was seriously the best!
The guys getting ready cabin was H U G E which is very rare to come by.

These two were filled with so much love and laughter, it was so heart warming to see the chemistry that they shared in a moment of quiet and peace before walking down the alter.

Hunter made it known that Ashley was his bride on this day. He was so sweet and caring about every single second and he made sure that she knew his world revolved around her. You could genuinely feel that their love for one another was immeasurable.

The DJ put on the BEST party, seriously.

Can’t get over the sweetness in these two pics side by side.

The best feeling in the world is being surrounded by people you love and people who love you on your big day, and Ashley and Hunter’s family and friends showed out when it came to showering them with love!

Everyone had so much fun at the reception, the bride and grooms exit didn’t put a stop to that!

Once the exit was over, the party was back on! I always tell my CMC couples that just because you want to have a planned exit, it never means you literally have to be done with the wedding. If everyones having fun, who cares about an agenda! It’s your day, so make it yours in every which way!

My husband helped me all day long, which is rare, I almost never get to use him as an assistant for my sessions. We had so much fun during this wedding he still talks about it nonstop to this day and how great the wedding was.
Ashley and Hunter’s day was truly breathtaking, a day to remember.
