Kiana & Drew’s Adventure Engagement | 12.06.20

Kiana and Drew’s engagement session was the ultimate dream. So much so that now I offer Adventure Engagement Sessions to any CMC Couple.

Many of you know that Kiana is like a sister to me, we are childhood best friends and watching her in the journey of marriage has been truly the perfect picture of beauty.

Drew and Kiana have a love like no other. They’re genuinely each other’s better halves, and the pictures I was able to capture during our adventure for this session let us get a glimpse into how much chemistry they share.

This session was done at Providence Canyon State Park in Lumpkin, Georgia. This state park gave us alllll of the vibes for a neutral, calm, desert theme, making it super easy to truly capture Kiana and Drew in each other’s presence, completely consumed in their love for one another.

This was also the adventure of a lifetime, we made an entire weekend out of it and I was able to bring my hubby along too!

Scroll to the end to see my excitement of shooting with my BFF for her engagement, and the raw reality of doing a session in a desert setting that isn’t exactly in a drought state.

Here’s some more behind the scenes from our trip. We got there Friday night and stayed at at treehouse nearby. It was FREEZING so we made a fire and played some games beside it, including “hot potato” really fast but with an egg to see who it would crack on.

Saturday we woke up and made breakfast outside. Then we went to the state park to hike it and see what we were up against with lighting and time. It began raining towards the end so we had to push the session to Sunday morning before we headed back home.

This trip was one of our favorites we’ve made. Kiana and Drew’s gallery turned out beautiful. Now, I’m just waiting for the day more adventure sessions are booked!
