Wedding Desserts | Mallory at Relax and Eat Cake

I am not a big cake fan but I absolutely love when my couples choose Mallory with Relax and Eat Cake. I always make sure I get a piece... or two ;) I asked Mallory to feature on my blog and I love what she has to share about wedding desserts. This lady is talented, creative, and the best baker!

“In the past 5 years or so, the variety and execution has absolutely exploded with unique inspiration, and I am certainly not complaining! This is what artist’s dreams are made of! Now we have dessert bars, cereal treat cakes, donut walls, French Macaron towers, and many other options! I love the personalization and individual enthusiasm.

You can convey your own personalities through your dessert selections

Trust me when I say, your guests will LOVE a creative dessert at your wedding. Wedding cakes are edible art forms that can easily be the centerpiece of your reception or an equally appreciated accent to coordinate with the rest of your décor. Any size, any design, any flavors are usually possible (at least with me anyway because I love a challenge and hardly say no!) There are plenty of options to accommodate most budgets as well.

Not a fan of cake? How about a dessert bar?

The options are endless, and most bakers are happy to accommodate a fun dessert buffet! An interactive dessert buffet gives guests a reason to get out of their seats and mingle and enjoy the amazing décor you’ve worked so hard on creating. Being able to try a little of everything and mix and match flavors is always a crowd pleaser. Keep in mind that many bakers work privately from their homes and typically aren’t set up to crank out dozens of orders per weekend. In order to continually uphold the highest quality of work, we home bakers are selective with the quantity of orders per week, especially during peak wedding seasons.

This is why I recommend securing your cake lady as soon as you decide on a date!

I’ve had the honor and pleasure of attending weddings I’ve made the cake for and after the dinner and the fun traditions are done, there is always a line of guests waiting for cake and/or desserts to be served. It’s a highlight for your guests and should be prioritized, trust me!” - Mallory

Here are some cakes Mallory designed that tasted oh so good but I was sure to get a picture of first
