Schwartz's Backyard Wedding | COVID-19 Wedding Series 3

Ethan reached out to me at the end of last summer to document him proposing to Sara. He said Sara was in love with my work so he knew I was the one he needed to hire.

He proposed at the deer point dock at the end of a candlelight walkway. The dock was somewhere special to them. Fast forward a few weeks, Sara and I met to talk about me documenting their wedding. It was scheduled for May 16, 2020.

Sara reached out to me a couple weeks ago saying plans have changed due to the coronavirus. Her and Ethan decided to move their wedding date up since it’s so uncertain when the coronavirus will end. They shrunk the guest lists and even decided to have their wedding in Ethan’s parent’s backyard. They kept the date of the 16th and got married on Thursday, April 16, 2020. It was a beautiful wedding. Sara’s sister Mallory did an incredible job putting everything together.

Ethan is a youth pastor in Alabama, and had one of his mentors officiate the wedding ceremony. I love when clients choose officiates that have a  special relationship with them.

All day long, we kept saying how it was undeniably meant to be that way. Getting ready with her sisters, doing her own hair and makeup, having the first look along the same lake he proposed to her at… I really couldn’t have imagined it to be any better for Ethan and Sara. It represented them beautifully.
