The Youngs | Covid Wedding Series 5

Kristen and Blaise have incredible souls. They are one of my couples that I wish I would’ve spent more time with throughout their CMC experience, and I hope our friendship continues after their wedding. I will never forget meeting with Kristen for the first time and the words she said that truly transformed how I view myself. She might not remember this but it meant the world to me, so I do.. she said “I was waiting on you to raise your prices”. She was waiting to book me until I valued myself. She went on to share how the lower prices made her question the value she would receive but she knew she would receive great work from me.

I got in my car after that meeting and began to pray. I thanked God for showing me the love and support I needed in order to see my value through a stranger. I’m not sure if Kristen realizes how impactful that was, but I am forever grateful.

I didn’t meet Blaise until their engagement session and he was so open and showed sides of himself my guys usually don’t show right off the bat. Their engagement sessions was incredible! I called Josh, my fiancé, to tell him “THIS was the ideal couple, the session I needed to spark my motivation again”.

Their wedding was supposed to be at the new community center in Blountstown which is honestly gorgeous from the picture Kristen showed me. However, the coronavirus affected this and the community center was no longer hosting events. Quickly, Kristen’s family decided on Kristen’s childhood church. Her father does construction and had recently renovated the church so it was an empty pallet for her to use for her wedding.

I know God has a plan for everything and even though this wasn’t what K+B originally planned, it was still an amazing day!!
